Standing within the center, photographing battle – BBC Information

Jerusalem-born photographer Muhammed Muheisen grew up with information, holding a digicam round his neck. Early on, he discovered a treasured lesson: to battle, it’s important to place your self within the center. As AP’s Chief Photographer for the Center East, Afghanistan and Pakistan he has been roaming the area for the previous decade, photographing wars and the folks caught up in them. His work has acquired quite a few awards, amongst others, Breaking Information Pulitzer Prize winner in 2005 and 2013 for masking the conflict in Iraq and the civil conflict in Syria.
